CM Gandapur unveils a comprehensive plan to restore law and order in KPK
Dera Ismail Khan: Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, has announced a comprehensive plan to restore law and order in the province as a top priority.
During his inaugural visit to Dera Ismail Khan since assuming office, Gandapur emphasized the urgent need for a stable law and order situation to drive progress in the region.
He stressed the importance of ensuring the safety of police and security forces, highlighting the reinstatement of the health card facility and plans to enhance treatment services in public hospitals to reduce reliance on private healthcare.
To combat inflation, the provincial government will provide Rs10,000 to 850,000 deserving families in the province as part of a Ramazan package, delivered directly to their doorsteps.
Furthermore, the government has reopened shelter homes with improved facilities and is focused on creating sustainable business opportunities for residents rather than charity-based solutions.
Efforts are underway to provide employment to women and youth through skill training programs, with plans to collaborate with other countries for job opportunities abroad.
Gandapur also emphasized the importance of addressing food security by constructing small dams like the TankZam dam and initiating the Lift Canal project in Dera Ismail Khan.
The chief minister pledged to prioritize revenue generation to make Khyber Pakhtunkhwa a model province without heavy reliance on loans.
He mentioned positive discussions with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, who assured support for resolving issues in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including pending dues.
Gandapur called on the media to shed light on the real issues faced by the public, serving as a vital link between the government and the people. He expressed openness to constructive criticism from the media.
