KALAT: On Sunday, there were tremors felt in Kalat and nearby areas in Balochistan.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.6 on the Richter scale struck parts of the province.

People were scared and came out of their homes, reciting verses from the Holy Quran. Fortunately, there were no reports of any casualties or damage to property in the province.

The National Seismic Monitoring Centre reported that the earthquake had a depth of 33 kilometres. Just a few days earlier, there were also tremors felt in Sibi city and its surrounding areas in Balochistan.
