Gold prices increase by Rs500 per tola

Gold prices surge by Rs4,000 to Rs303,000 per tola

On Thursday, the price of 24 karat gold per tola increased by Rs500, reaching Rs275,700 compared to Rs275,200 on the previous trading day, as reported by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold rose by Rs428 to Rs236,368 from Rs235,940, while the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also went up to Rs216,671 from Rs216,278.

Both per tola and ten-gram silver were traded at Rs3,400 and Rs2,914.95, respectively.

Meanwhile, the Pakistani rupee depreciated by 02 paisa against the US dollar in interbank trading, closing at Rs277.94 compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs277.92.

According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market were Rs277.50 and Rs279.00, respectively.

The price of Euro increased by 85 paisa to close at Rs292.98, up from the previous day’s closing of Rs292.13, as reported by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

Additionally, the exchange rate of the UAE Dirham and the Saudi Riyal each increased by 01 paisa, closing at Rs75.67 and Rs73.97, respectively.
