The government has set up special courts nationwide to safeguard lawyers, as announced by the Ministry of Law and Justice.

These special courts have been established in Islamabad and all four provinces under the Lawyers Welfare and Protection Act 2023, in collaboration with the Chief Justices of the high courts.

Session and additional session judges in Islamabad and the provinces have been given judicial authority to preside over these special courts.
