Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori expressed concern that if electricity prices in Sindh are not adjusted to match those in Punjab, it could lead to increased feelings of deprivation among the public.

Tessori made these comments during a press conference on Sunday, where he also mentioned his plans to write to the Sindh government to request a reduction in electricity prices.

Additionally, he urged businessmen and NGOs to support those affected by recent natural disasters, especially the torrential rains that have worsened conditions in the province.

Tessori also shared his intention to distribute 10,000 ration boxes to rain victims. Regarding the controversy surrounding Arshad Nadeem’s reward money, Tessori clarified that the athlete did not receive any funds from the Sindh government on August 13 or 14. He also announced that a program to honor martyrs will be held at the Governor House on Sept 6.
