ISLAMABAD: Prime minister of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif announced to go home if he is found guilty after his accountability by the proposed commission on Panama Leaks.

Addressing to the nation on radio and television, the prime minister said that he would present himself and his family before the Panama Leaks Commission for accountability and if found guilty he would go home .

Prime minister Nawaz Sharif said that he had nothing to hide and is taking the nation into confidence on Panama Papers — an unprecedented leak of 11.5 million files from an offshore law firm Mossack Fonseca — being the head of the government of a democratic state.

Nawaz Sharif said he would write to the Chief Justice of Pakistan for constituting a commission to probe the Panama Papers.

He said that he had already announced to make a judicial commission under the supervision of a retired Supreme Court judge.

He also said that though he was not named in the revelations but being the prime minister of a democratic country he considers it a duty to clear his position.
