Imran Khan's willingness to hold dialogue should not be misconstrued as deal: Swati

Azam Swati, a leader of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), stated that Imran Khan has always been open to dialogue, but it should not be seen as making a deal.

Swati mentioned that they have convinced Khan to consider talks in line with the party’s vision. In a recent video message, Swati explained that they persuaded Khan to come to the table in 2022, and he has since kept the door open for dialogue, emphasizing that talks should not be confused with making a deal.

Swati also mentioned that Khan remained in good spirits even while in jail, and no one can negotiate on his behalf.

Swati acknowledged that convincing Khan to engage in talks was challenging, but they did it for the nation’s future. He emphasized that dialogue is a sign of maturity and statesmanship, not weakness.
