GUJRAT: Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique said Friday Pakistanis have rejected the devaluation of votes, adding that disqualification of Nawaz Sharif was inappropriate.
Before Nawaz Sharif’s address during the GT Road homecoming rally, he held an emotional talk with people. Saad Rafique argued that authority without power is of no use and people will not accept the devaluation of their votes.
Nawaz Sharif brought projects like CPEC, motorway, network of roads, education and electricity, he mentioned. The minister stated that such treatment with the ex-PM was inappropriate. He also expressed grief over the death of 12-year-old boy who was hit by a car from the rally.
In his address in Gujrat, Nawaz Sharif slammed the political rivals, asking the crowd whether they will support him at which they roared with a ‘yes’. He will reach Gujranwala today where people will welcome him.
