Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz embarked on an official eight-day trip to China on Sunday. Special arrangements have been made for her visit, and she will receive VIP treatment.

Maryam Nawaz will be the first female chief minister to visit China at the invitation of the ruling party. She will be accompanied by a high-level delegation as guests of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

The trip will include visits to Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangdong, focusing on cooperation in Information Technology (IT), healthcare, and industry. Maryam Nawaz is scheduled to meet with prominent Chinese leaders and government officials during her visit.
