ISLAMABAD: Naeemul Haque of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has demanded Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) to explain party’s reaction played to Ayesha Gulalai’s allegations.
Haque talked to the media in Peshawar and said that JI should not have taken a side so soon over Gulalai’s unproved accusations.
He asserted that Pakistan is being by a ‘puppet government’ at the time which is being directed by former prime minister Nawaz Sharif. He urged the all political parties to abstain from politics that taps into personal lives of the lawmakers.
Gulalai, MNA from FATA and former member of PTI accused party chief Imran Khan of making unwelcome advances via text messages on mobile phone.
Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi urged Speaker of National Assembly to name a parliamentary committee to probe lawmaker s allegations.
