LAHORE: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will preside over an important meeting of the federal cabinet on Friday to discuss a range of issues.
According to details, the Prime Minister will discuss prevailing issues in the country with his federal cabinet. Indian army’s atrocities in occupied Kashmir are likely to come under discussion and a one point agenda will be deliberated upon.
Sources disclosed that the PM will also give his approval to sign a couple of memorandums with countries in various sectors. Thirteen pending points pertaining to the previous meetings of the federal cabinet could also be presented in tomorrow’s meeting.
The terms of reference as well as appointment of election commission members will also be discussed in the meeting. The Foreign Ministry will brief the cabinet on its diplomatic efforts.
PM Nawaz arrived in the country a couple of days ago after convalescing in London for a month. The Pakistani Premier had a successful open heart surgery in June.
