Nawaz vows to bring inflation down
LAHORE: The President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, promised to help the country overcome inflation during a meeting at the party’s Model Town Secretariat.
The meeting was attended by prominent members of the party. Sharif suggested providing relief to commercial electricity consumers by reducing power bills by Rs14 per unit, similar to the relief given to domestic consumers in August and September.
He emphasized that the progress made under the PML-N government should not be derailed and criticized Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), for causing inflation in the country.
