Nine new additional judges of the Lahore High Court were sworn in on Monday in a ceremony led by Lahore High Court Chief Justice, Justice Aalia Neelum.

The event took place at the court’s central lawn and was conducted by Registrar Abher Gul Khan. Senior judges like Justice Shujaat Ali Khan and Justice Ali Baqar Najafi, as well as court officials, attended the ceremony.

The judges who took the oath included Justice Hassan Nawaz Makhdoom, Justice Malik Waqar Haider Awan, Justice Sardar Akbar Ali, Justice Syed Ahsan Raza Kazmi, Justice Malik Javed Iqbal Venice, Justice Muhammad Jawad Zafar, Justice Khalid Ishaq, Justice Malik Muhammad Owais Khalid, and Justice Chaudhry Sultan Mahmood.
