Pakistan invites Narendra Modi to Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Summit

Pakistan has invited Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in Islamabad on October 15 and 16.

Invitations have been sent to all member countries, including India. The Indian government has not yet decided whether Modi will attend, but there is a chance that a senior minister may go in his place.

The last time an Indian official attended the SCO summit in Pakistan was in 2015 when then-foreign minister Sushma Swaraj participated.
