KARACHI: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi today met the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in the Governor House, Karachi. The two representatives discussed regarding collaboration, coordination and cooperation between the federal and provincial units, peace and security, development and matters of mutual interest.
The Prime Minister said that the Sindh Chief Minister should play his role to improve the link between local, provincial and federal bodies. He said that the Provincial Government should effectively take up the task to improve the law and order situation.
Prime Minister Abbasi emphasized that the law and order situation is essential for peace, prosperity and development and further steps should be taken for the purpose. PM Abbasi stressed that the Federal Government will also follow the same path in order to ensue continuity of the system. He also directed that the ongoing federal projects in the Sindh Province should be completed as soon as possible.
Abbasi s maiden visit to Sindh focuses on ways to devise methods to address provincial issues. He has held meetings with party leaders of Muttahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP).
