PM Shehbaz reaffirms support for Palestinian cause

'Uraan Pakistan' to take country to new heights in 2025, says PM Shehbaz

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has restated Pakistan’s strong support for the fair fight of the Palestinian people for their right to self-determination, freedom, and justice.

He met with Palestinian Ambassador Dr. Zuhair Mohammad Hamadallah Zaid in Islamabad on Thursday.

The Prime Minister strongly condemned Israel’s violent actions against innocent Palestinians, especially the recent escalation since October 7, 2023, which has led to the deaths of over 43,000 people and injuries to more than 105,000 others.

He expressed disappointment at the lack of global accountability for Israel and called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid to the suffering Palestinian population in the occupied territories.

The Prime Minister assured the Ambassador that the entire Pakistani nation stands in solidarity with the courageous Palestinian people and will continue to support them in any way possible.
