Defence Minister Khawaja Asif stated in London that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is trying to gain control of the government with the support of the United States.

He criticized the PTI founder for previously opposing the US but now seeking their help to gain power. Asif mentioned that the attacks on May 9 were planned and targeted sensitive locations by trained individuals.

He emphasized the importance of making quick decisions on national matters, but noted that the judiciary was a major obstacle. Additionally, Asif clarified that Pakistan’s armed forces were challenged on May 9, but not by India.
