Vawda criticises PTI’s civil disobedience call

Imran Khan won't escape punishment in 190m pound case, says Vawda

Senator Faisal Vawda has accused the PTI of using the call for civil disobedience as a tactic to put pressure on the case against former spymaster Faiz Hameed.

Vawda visited MQM leaders at the party’s central office in Bahadurabad, Karachi on Sunday. Mustafa Kamal praised Vawda for his efforts to unite political forces in Pakistan, calling him a “one-man army.”

Vawda emphasized the importance of respecting all political mandates, including the PTI’s, and warned against further unrest, protests, or injustices in Pakistan.

He criticized the alleged mismanagement by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister and stated that lawlessness would not be tolerated.

Vawda claimed that the PTI’s civil disobedience call was planned to coincide with Faiz Hameed’s case, but acknowledged that the hearing might start earlier.

He reiterated that there were no deals with the establishment and urged the PTI to reform its approach and protect its founder, highlighting that his most loyal supporters are his sisters.
