Khawaja Haris, legal adviser to Nawaz Sharif, asked during a cross-examination whether Wajid Zia provided any evidence that Nawaz Sharif was the beneficial owner of the Avenfield property. In response, Wajid responded that they (Panamagate JIT) did not have any such documents and did not submit any evidence that may prove that Nawaz Sharif was the owner of the Avenfield property.
Kh Haris further inquired whether the Radley Forensic Documentation Laboratory provided Nawaz Sharif with any such information as the beneficial owner of Nielsen and the Nessel Offshore Company. In response, Wajid Zia responded that Radely Forensic is private but is a registered company. Zia said: “We (JIT team) did not have any direct communication with the company.”
