FAISALABAD: Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly (NA) Syed Khurshid Shah on Tuesday said Balochistan neither remained Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) stronghold in the past, and nor will it be in the future.
Khurshid Shah talked to media in Faisalabad and maintained that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has no alliance with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and both parties are together just to seek justice for the victims of Model Town incident.
While bashing former military dictators, the opposition leader said Zia-ul-Haq created militants by opening Afghan border, and Pervez Musharraf destroyed the country.
Syed Khurshid Shah said America does not want Pakistan to make progress, but we should not let our foreign policy be affected by that.
Shah added that the Senate and general elections will be held on time. Talking about PTI Chief Imran Khan’s third wedding, the opposition leader said it is his right whether he performs three marriages or four.
