ISLAMABAD Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Saturday decided to file a petition in the Supreme Court seeking the reopening of late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto (ZAB) reference.
In an informal discussion with the reporters in Islamabad on Saturday, he said that he decided to file a petition in the Supreme Court seeking the reopening of late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto reference.
The PPP chairman said that the way Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and Leader of Oppsotion in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif was arrested was not appropriate.
“If there were allegations against the former Punjab CM then the arrest should have been made after completing all legal requirements,” he added.
Bilawal went on to say that the government wants to run away from accountability by keeping the chairmanship of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC).
Regarding requisition to call NA session, he said that the requisition to call session of National Assembly was submitted after agreement with the PPP.
