RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar JavedBajwa on Tuesday chaired the inaugural meeting of the board of governors of National University of Technology (NUTECH), the media wing of the Pakistan Armed Forces, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported.
The spokesperson of ISPR said that COAS General Qamar Bajwa chaired the meeting of the board of governors of NUTECH and admired the efforts of the administration.
He said that NUTECH will produce highly qualified engineers and an expert work force for several other fields.
COAS said that establishing the first Technology University was our dream in order to produce skilled youth and NUTECH authorities have impressively performed for this achievement.
Gen. Bajwa advised university authorities to maintain the high educational standards and merit.
He informed that the university will start working from September 18, 2018 and university programs will be equally beneficial for youth and the industry.
