ISLAMABAD: Minister for Foreign Affairs Khurram Dastgir Khan on Thursday said that the ground realities have changed in Pakistan but the thinking of United States is still stuck in 2011.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Thursday, he said that the relations between US and Pakistan cannot strengthen until Washington didn’t hold dialogues with the democratic governments.
The minister also expressed doubt that the US-Pakistan relations won’t strengthen until Washington changed its thinking.
Dastgir went on to say that there were only military level contacts with India, adding that New Delhi didn’t respond positively to Islamabad’s proposal of normalizing ties.
The minister for foreign affairs further declared membership of SCO, getting GSP Plus from Europe and improving relations with Central Asian States as achievements of the government.
