ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hanif Abbasi has on Tuesday filed a review petition against the Supreme Court (SC) decision declaring Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan sadiq (truthful) and ameen (righteous).

Hanif Abbasi opted the stance that Imran Khan should be judged on the same criteria on which Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif was scrutinized.

The PML-N leader requested the court to nullify the verdict that limited the party funding probe to five years only. He said PTI chief lied before the court, therefore, he does not remain eligible under Article 62(1)(F).

The petition further stated that the court did not observe Imran Khan’s conduct during the case hearing. Imran did not declare London flat, loan that he took from ex-wife Jemima, and offshore company in his nomination papers in 1997, it said.
