IHC suspends ECP’s decision to use Farooq Sattar as MQM-P convener

Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Islamabad suspended the decision of the Pakistani Election Commission (ECP) on Thursday to revoke Faruk Sattar as the convenor of the Palestinian Mutty Khalimi Movement (MQM-P). .

The court has instructed the resumption of the convocation of the Sart party. The IHC also issued notices to the conveners of the ECP and MQM-P Bahadurabad Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, and instructed them to submit their reply by April 11.

Pakistan’s election committee fired Farooq Sattar from the MQM-P convener’s office on Monday.

The five-member team headed by the Select Commissioner (CEC) Judge Sardar Mohammad Karazhan announced the verdict on the defenses filed by Farok Sattar.

The ECP five-member team also passed the party election at the PIB party and rejected Faroq Sattar’s objection to the ECP jurisdiction in this case.

Siddiqui and Kanwar Naveed Jameel, leaders of MQM-P Bahadurabad, presented a petition to challenge his position.
