LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry on Wednesday said that the politics of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has ended and now party chairman Imran Khan will become prime minister of Pakistan.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore on Wednesday, he said that it is a political movement if Nawz Sharif start but the army supports when there is a sit-in against the former premier.
The PTI spokesman said that Nawaz terms the sit-in a conspiracy of the establishment but the reality was that when Sharif became prime minister, Imran Khan during his first day if the parliament had demanded the government to open four constituencies.
Fawad Ch said that the government promised that investigations would be carried out over PTI chairman’s claims, adding that the sit-in was staged after the government failed to fulfill its promise.
He went on to say that Nawaz Sharif was presenting himself as politically oppressed person, adding that the PML-N supremo has complained why army and judiciary investigated the Panama Papers scandal.
“The ex-PM only wants to save his property,” he said and added Nawaz wouldn’t have sent his Rs300 billion abroad if he loved Pakistan.
Chaudhry further assured the PML-N supremo that the process accountability would not stop here but it will continue.
The PTI spokesman further accused that the former PM considers Kashmir a part of India, adding that he speaks about Kargil with a heavy heart but never talked about Siachin.
