Stories written by famous French author Jean de la Fontine were presented through art performances in a mime and puppet show that mesmerised audiences at the Alliance Française in Karachi.
The mime and puppet show was based on moral stories by the French author and were performed by French artists at the French cultural centre.

France’s famous mime performers Laurent Decol and Valerie Decol collaborated with Pakistan’s Yamina Peerzada, putting up a spectacular show on stage for the audiences in the coastal city.
The festival held in Karachi by Alliance Française showcased the works of Fontaine through stage performances based on famous fables including the Turtle and the Rabbit, Wolf and the Goat and the famous story of the Crow and the Fox.

Visitors at the festival not just took interest in the collaborative performances but also admired the performers.
