QUETTA: Two firing incidents in capital city of Balochsitan province left one levies personnel among five persons killed and ten locals wounded on Monday in a locality situated near Qambrani Road.

Reportedly, a van, travelling from Khajoori area of Machh to Quetta was intercepted by a group of people and the two parties entered an argument that led to gunfire.

The incident claimed life of levies personnel named Naveed and locals named Abdul Hameed, Ghulam Rasool and Bashir. The gunfire injured as many as ten persons in the van.

Police arrived at the attack site and shifted the bodies and the wounded to Civil Hospital and BMC.

Half an hour after the incident, a local named Muhammad Azam was gunned down on Sibbi Road prompting police to launch a search operation.
