Mulk’s interim cabinet members to take oath today: sources

ISLAMABAD: Members for the interim cabinet appointed by caretaker interim prime minister Justice (retd) Nasirul Mulk will take oath today, sources said.

President Mamnoon Hussain will administer oath to the six-member interim cabinet during a ceremony at 11am, according to sources.

The decision for interim cabinet members was made after Mulk took oath on June 1 at the President House.

While speaking to journalists after taking oath, the newly-appointed caretaker premier said they will announce the Cabinet members after discussion. He added the Cabinet would be concise as a few members would be appointed.

When asked about elections, Mulk said they will make sure elections are held on time and in a transparent manner. “Will fulfil the responsibility we have come for.”
