Responding to Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif’s diatribe regarding Mumbai attacks, disgruntled Chaudhry Nisar on Wednesday warned against escalating tensions.

While advising counterparts to ponder current situation and take rational approach, Nisar termed ongoing escalation ‘extremely perilous’ and urged all stakeholders to practice restraint.

“At first, the issue of Khatam-e-Nabuwat has emanated during tenure of our [PML-N] government while at present, we are facing allegations of treason”, stated Nisar.

Nisar warned party leaders that both party and country would suffer in case tensions were escalated.
