KARACHI: Leader of Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP), Syed Mustafa Kamal on Sunday achieved his first milestone as he addressed his very first public meeting here at Bagh-e-Jinnah since the launch of his party last month.
“This day will be remembered as a golden day in Pakistan’s history. We managed to gather such a huge crowd in just 30 days. No other party in the world can gather as many people in such a short time,” Mustafa Kamal said to the cheering crowd.
He congratulated participants for creating a ‘world record’, saying this is the ‘biggest public rally in Pakistan’s history’.
“This is the first political rally that has no political flag,” he said, adding, a large number of people are joining PSP.
He said those who are praising his movement at homes must come out to support his party.
Mustafa Kamal said his party does not want the democracy remain confined to the power corridors. “We want the fruits of democracy to be delivered at the doorsteps of the people,” he added.
He said Karachi is not just the biggest city of Pakistan but it is a gateway to central Asia. He vowed to transform the metropolis into a city of educated again.
Mustafa Kamal regretted that names of raw agents, target killers are being associated with Karachi and Karachiites are being called target killers and extortionists today.
