MIRAMSHAH: Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday visited Miramshah and met with the troops deployed at forward position along border with Afghanistan.
Speaking on the occasion, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) president asserted that terror attacks had plummeted by significant margin following fencing of Pak-Afghan border. He also paid visit to Seven Division Headquarters and received briefing from Major Gen Azhar Abbas.
The junior Sharif also visited border areas and Younis Khan Sports Complex.
“Punjab govt assisted process of border mechanism along border with Afghanistan and would continue to do the same in the future. Whole nation stands with Pak Army”, stated Sharif. He further went on to say that army had tendered unrivalled sacrifices to restore peace in the country.
