LAHORE: Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif on Saturday directed party leaders to accelerate election campaign.

He said this while presiding over a meeting of the party leadership in Lahore which was attended by Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique, Pervaiz Rasheed, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah and others.

The meeting also devised a formula for the distribution of party tickets for the upcomming general elections.

Speaking on the occasion, Nawaz Sharif said that only those who have been loyal to the party would be given tickets, adding that the party would try to win as many seats in Punjab as possible.
