LONDON: Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz on Wednesday condemned the Peshawar blast targeting ANP’s corner meeting and expressed condolences with Bilour family.
The PML-N supremo while expressing condolences with the families of martyred people said that he had no idea where these people wanted to take the country.
Speaking on the occasion, Maryam Nawaz said that her heart bleeds over the Peshawar blast which left several people dead and many others wounded.
She further declared the arrest of party workers as the victory of the PML-N.
The PML-N leader also denied reports of important meetings in Abu Dhabi and said that the lawyers were working for protective bail.
Earlier, Haroon Bilour, an Awami National Party (ANP) leader, and 19 other people were martyred and over 60 others were wounded in a suicide attack in Yaka Toot area of Peshawar on Tuesday night.
