LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif on Monday stated that deprivation from basic rights is tantamount to making joke out of the judicial system.

He was addressing a presser here in Lahore today.

“Khawaja Haris filed petition to formally withdraw himself from the case. Similar news are emanating pertaining to second legal counsel too. It is not possible [for lawyers] to pursue the case under such stern conditions”, asserted Sharif.

He went on to say that such atmosphere had been created that he had been deprived of lawyers. The PML-N supremo put whole blame of delay in proceedings on prosecution.

“If it is compulsory to announce verdict in my case before July-25, then make the decision”, stated Nawaz in his presser while apprising at the same time that justice rushed is justice crushed.
