SHEIKHUPURA: The recently installed CT scan machine at the Sheikhupura District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) has developed faults due to alleged negligence of the management after water seeps through the roof, failing sensors of the machine to work.
On April 1, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif inaugurated the machine worth millions of rupees.
“The machine was allegedly installed in the old building despite the warning of the engineer that the room was not fit for installation of the machine,” a management official, requesting anonymity, told Dunya News on Thursday.
He said that staffers and technicians did their best to remove the fault but failed.
Earlier, the chief minister had warned of strict action against those found involved in mishandling of machine.
