Non-textile exports witness significant growth in first four months of fiscal year

Non-textile exports from Pakistan have increased significantly in the first four months of the current fiscal year.

The exports of non-textile products have gone up by 17.6%, from $4.02 billion to $4.73 billion, with the growth attributed to the rise in value-added goods.

This increase in exports shows a renewed confidence in international markets, with engineering goods exports increasing by 31% and cement exports by 12%.

The engineering sector experienced growth in exports of industrial machinery, transport equipment, auto parts, and rubber tires.

Moreover, jewelry and petroleum products exports saw a remarkable surge, ranging from 100% to 530%.
