LONDON: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday thanked Pakistanis for the wishes and prayers they extended for his early recovery from a open heart surgery that is to be performed on Tuesday.
He was talking to media outside the Pakistan High Commission where he arrived to chair a meeting of Council of Common Intrests (CII) through a video link. The premier was accompanied by his younger brother and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
The prime minister assured the nation that every thing will go well with regard to annual budget.
The meeting is expected to be held in the evening and, according to our correspondent in Islamabad, participants including chief ministers of three provinces have arrived in the capital.
All the arrangements have been finalized at The Prime Minister’s Secretariat for the video link interaction between
the prime minister and the members of the CII.
