LAHORE: Rain with gusty winds lashed Lahore in the wee hours of Wednesday, bringing the mercury down and providing much needed relief to the citizen from hot weather.
Rain was also reported from other parts of the country. Heavy rain with strong wind also lashed out Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Murree and turned the weather pleasant.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, westerly wave is still affecting upper and central parts of the country and likely to persist next 24 hours.
The Met Office has predicted more rain at scattered places in the country during the next 24 hours.
