ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar Thursday ordered placement of all former and incumbent managing directors of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on the Exit Control List (ECL).
The order came as the Supreme Court heard a case pertaining to alleged financial irregularities and privatization of the national-flag carrier.
As the hearing went under way, the CJP remarked that PIA MDs had ruined the organization.
The counsel for the PIA told the court there were 10 ATRs, 12 777 and 10 airbuses. The CJP asked if 32 aircrafts were enough for the PIA.
