Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) on Friday summoned Geological Survey of Pakistan director general in Margalla Hills encroachment case, reported Dunya News.
A four-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Saqib Nisar heard the case here in Islamabad today.
CJP—during hearing—warned that those who will violate court’s orders will be sent to prison. CJP stated that apex court had slapped banned on encroachments and tree cutting.
CJP also snubbed the Geological Survey director general over not fulfilling his responsibilities and summoned him to appear before the case.
