ISLAMABAD: The Upper House approved a motion on Wednesday to form the Senate Finance Committee with members from the proposed list.

The motion, introduced by Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Azam Nazeer Tarar, also gave the Senate chairman the power to make changes to the committee’s composition if needed.

The minister explained that the committee’s members were selected by the chairman in collaboration with the leader of the opposition in the Senate.
