In a startling revelation, it has been learned that officials of Sindh govt were mixing mud and garbage in the wheat being distributed among famine-riddled people of Tharparkar.
As per details garnered, Sindh govt announced 50kg bag of wheat pre family for the affectees of Tharparkar famine.
The affectees—who covered long distances in bid to secure a wheat bag—were sheerly disappointed as they discovered adulteration of mud particles and garbage.
When inquired, food inspector replied that wheat had been stocked in 2015 and 2016 and therefore, dust particles and garbage were found.
On the other hand, the affectees staged protest and chanted slogans against Sindh govt.
