Sindh’s caretaker cabinet takes oath in Karachi

KARACHI: The seven-member cabinet of Sindh took oath on Friday in a ceremony held at the Governor House in Karachi.

Governor Sindh Mohammad Zubair administered oath to the interim cabinet. Caretaker CM Fazlur Rehman and other high-level officials also attended the ceremony.

Rahman’s cabinet comprises of Khair Muhammad Junejo, Mushtaq Ahmad Shah, Jameel Yousaf, Col. (R) Dost Muhammad Chandio, Dr. Sadia Rizvi, Simon John Daniel and Dr. Junaid Shah.

Expressing his views, the interim CM said, “The cabinet comprises of seven members. There are many departments in the province. We will work on daily basis and our only aim is to hold free and fair elections. A cell has been formulated in CM House for the purpose. The department of NAB is present to prevent corruption.”

Rehman also visited Quaid’s mausoleum along with his cabinet. They laid floral wreath over the grave and offered fateha. The interim CM also penned down his thoughts in visitor’s book.
