CHISHTIAN: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday said that the people will reject the decision of disqualifying him by voting for the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in 2018 general elections.

Addressing a public gathering in Chishtian on Monday, he said that not a single allegation of corruption could be proved against him after 70 court hearings.

Nawaz Sharif said that those who serve Pakistan are declared traitors, adding that “I and people of Pakistan did not accept the Supreme Court’s verdict”.

The PML-N supremo said that the people love more if Nawaz Sharif will be suppressed more.

“Now the vote is about to get respect,” the former premier said, adding that he was sure that Chishtian would be ahead of all in this campaign.

The ex-PM said that after coming to power again, he would serve the masses more, adding that the farmers would be provided fertilizers at low cost and the youth will get jobs.

Nawaz also lashed out at the South Punjab leaders who recently joined the PTI and called them “turncoats”.

“The nation has rejected the turncoats. If you think by quitting PML-N, you are weakening the party, you are wrong because people will vote for whosoever the PML-N nominates,” he stated.
