LAHORE: In his reaction to the verdict of the Supreme Court that declared disqualificaiton under Artice 62 (1)(f) is for life time, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif Friday said that the day was a test for the country and its masses.
“Today, a thrice elected prime minister, who made Pakistan’s defence invincible, has been barred from serving the country.”
He said, “Nawaz is a name of an ideology. His roots are based on public service, vote respect and supremacy of the constitution. I think Nawaz doesn’t need any public office to serve the masses. His party, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-) is still and will remain there under his leadership.
