NAWABSHAH: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday obliquely took a jibe at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chied Imran Khan while stating that tsunami ended in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) after initiating its journey from Karachi.
He was talking to media in Nawabshah.
“Naïve Nawaz Sharif did not respond positively to [PPP’s] benevolence. The government of Mian sab was about to fall in 1.5 years but PPP avoided indulging in number games and saved PMLN. Had we resigned along with Imran Khan, federal government would have fallen down”, Zardari apprised Nawaz Sharif.
Zardari stated that PPP would battle Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz in general election 2018.
“Nawaz Sharif had been contemplating to rollback eighteenth amendment”, accused Zardari.
