ISLAMABAD Caretaker Information Minister Ali Zafar has on Monday termed inadequate water reservoirs as biggest challenge for the upcoming Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.

He was addressing a presser here in Islamabad today.

“Unfortunately, we [read Pakistan] built only two dams after inking Indus Water Treaty in 1962. At present, Pakistan is facing severe water shortage. As many as ten suggestions are being pondered by the officials concerned for getting rid of water scarcity”.

Regretting absence of consensus among provinces, Zafar stated Pakistan should build Kala Bagh Dam.
