ISLAMABAD: Pakistani Chief Justice Sajb Nisar (CJP) said on Thursday that he has not lost anything because of the last meeting but has succeeded.
He heard Murree’s case concerning illegal construction.
CJP said in a conversation with senior lawyer Latif Khosa: “He came to my residence and told me his reservation but did not give me anything. My responsibility is to listen to the parties’ pain.”
“Trust me and justice. I won’t let my department and lawyers disappoint,” he said.
The Prime Minister (afternoon) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi held a very ordinary two-hour meeting in Islamabad with Pakistan’s Chief Justice Justice Supreme Court Building on Tuesday.
Based on the details, PM and CJP exchanged opinions on the issue of constituency demarcation, 2018 general opinion polls, caretaker government and other constitutional and legal issues. Both dignity also agreed to strengthen the links between all state agencies.
Earlier, CJP pointed out that after meeting with PM Abbasi, several things will develop rapidly.
