Young doctors, paramedical staff stage protest in Quetta

QUETTA: The young doctors and para-medical staff in Balochistan once again took to the street in favor of their demands.

The agitated doctors and para-medical staff chanted “Sada Haq Aithay rakh” slogan and tried to advance towards the Chief Minister Hose in a rally but police stopped the protesters from advancing.

The protesters stagged a sit-in in front of Commissioner Office.

The protesting doctors said that they had called off their sit-in after Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar asked them but the provincial government has not fulfilled their demands.

The protesters also chanted slogans against the government.

The protesters demanded an increase in the stipends of doctors on House Job, provision of facilities in the hospital and the summary of fulfilling the demands should be issued.

They vowed to continue protest till their demands are met.
